Featured books: "The Moon Is a Harsh Mistress" by Robert Heinlein and "Heritage of Stars" by Clifford Simak

This is an interactive book group looking to engage participants in their love of SciFi or introduce it to others. The conversations held will include the expansion of humanity into the physical and technological universe while considering the humanistic implications we see around us today.

The interactive part? Bring your favorite SciFi books or titles with you to both meetings to discuss why they are important to you and to recommend them to others who are part of this group. At the second meeting, participants will choose a title from those recommended books to read for the final session on August 22.
